Event Details

Thomas Lawson set sail for America on the Second Charter of Virginia in 1609. A hurricane sent the settlers aground on the uninhabited archipelago of Bermuda, the shipwreck entailed in Shakespeare's "The Tempest". After building two new vessels aptly named the Deliverance and the Patience, Thomas Lawson, the settlers, and supplies continued on to the New World to find a mere 60 of the original settlers remaining, seccumbing to starvation and disease. 400 years later we will gather for a celebration on the last untouched 7.5 acres of land that King James granted to Thomas Lawson. This celebration is the Deliverance and the Patience set sail for you, to restore your mind, body, and funk-loving soul.
